Individualized Skills and Socialization (ISS) has replaced the former Day Habilitation program under Texas Health and Human Services guidelines. While the purpose remains similar, ISS is more person-centered and community-focused, designed to help individuals build the skills needed to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.
At Aim High Home and Community Services, Inc., our ISS program offers structured opportunities for individuals to develop daily living, social, and community integration skills in both center-based and community settings. Activities are tailored to each person’s goals, interests, and abilities as outlined in their individual service plan.
