YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the answers to some of the most common questions we receive, designed to help you better understand our services and support options.

What services does AIM HIGH Home and Community Services, Inc. provide?
Through the HCS Medicaid Waiver Program, Aim High HCS provides a full range of residential and support services tailored to each individual’s needs. These include Host Home/Companion Care, Community First Choice (CFC), and Group Homes.

We also coordinate care through our trusted network of professionals, including primary care physicians, dentists, and specialized therapists such as physical therapists (PT), occupational therapists (OT), speech therapists, and board-certified behavior analysts (BCBAs). In addition, we have a registered nurse (RN) on staff who provides nursing services under the scope of HCS guidelines.

To further promote independence and inclusion, Aim High HCS contracts with over 20 Individualized Skills and Socialization sites throughout the community, giving each person the opportunity to choose daily activities that match their interests, strengths, and goals.
Do you provide care at home or only in residential settings?
We provide a range of residential options through the HCS Medicaid Waiver Program. Individuals may receive support in their own homes through Host Home/Companion Care or Community First Choice (CFC), while our Group Homes offer safe, supportive residential environments. This flexibility ensures that each person receives the right care in the setting that best meets their needs.
How do I get started?
If you are already receiving services through the HCS Medicaid Waiver Program, Aim High HCS can answer questions about our agency and the services you are currently receiving to determine if we may be a good fit to assist you. If you are on the waitlist for HCS services, we can help connect you with the appropriate Local Intellectual and Developmental Disability Authority (LIDDA) for further guidance and support.
